UFS UltraFine Screen

The new Metso UltraFine Screen delivers an innovative fine wet screening solution that complements Metso’s existing fine grinding technologies for mineral processing industries including metallic, industrial, and aggregates.

Fine screen media is currently manufactured to a standard size, resulting in limitations in the screening unit capacities.

In higher capacity applications, this results in the need for multiple units and a large overall footprint relative to alternative classifiers such as hydrocyclones.

In addition, the application of fine screening technology typically requires a higher capital expenditure for a given feed capacity.
